Located on 160 acres in the scenic Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia, we seek “to know Christ and to make Him known” through various ministries, camps, retreats and facility rentals. Camp Bethel is open year-round to serve the needs of the community. Please wander throughout our website and make yourself familiar with all the offerings of our camp. If you find something you’d like to know more about, please contact us.
While we offer much more than Summer Camp with Retreats for Bikers, Women, College Students, Family Camp and much more, Summer Camp is our primary ministry.
Our goals: First, to introduce every individual to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Second for those who are Christians to provide opportunities for personal growth and knowledge of Gods word. Third to provide an environment, facilities, and staff that encourages every camper to experience to the fullest Gods love for them and encourages them to love Him to their fullest.
Who are we: Camp Bethel Ministries is concerned about today’s youth and the influences that surround them? Never before has a generation faced so many pressures and temptations. One wrong decision can result in a lifetime of heartache and regret. We are determined to be a positive influence in the lives of all those we touch.
What we offer: It’s our desire to create a safe place where young people can come and be influenced with positive life changing teaching from Gods word. A place where each day they learn to walk in a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and are encouraged to live it out each day or their lives.
Programming: Each week of Summer Camp including our speakers, music, activities, scheduling, even the food is geared toward the specific age group for that week.
Activities: It’s impossible to list all that is offered but to list a few, basketball, beach volleyball, weight lifting, skate boarding, paintball, high and intermediate ropes course, mountain boarding, just to mention a few. Not to mention all of the crazy games, team activities and fun that is offered.
Thank you once again for visiting and we hope you can visit our camp in person soon. We’d love to meet you and be of assistance in any way we can.
