Located in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, Camp Bethel offers a unique combination of rustic log cabins and modern conveniences.  The facilities are open throughout the year to serve groups from 25 to 200.  Call to schedule your group’s next retreat!

John D. Henry Memorial Building
Full-sized gymnasium has a high school regulation-size basketball court. A stage area is available for concerts or worship services.

Mary Henry Dining Hall
Brand-new dining facility can accommodate up to 320 individuals. And the food is great!!!

Memory Lake
“Memory Lake” has a diving board, rope swing, 40 ft. slide, rings, and two zip lines.

There is also picnic pavilion, a softball field, and a large area for games.  Also nearby the lake area are beach volleyball and paved basketball courts.

CHALLENGING ROPES COURSES
Our Intermediate and High ropes courses will provide many opportunities for your group to learn leadership and teamwork.  This is available for day trips or weekend retreats.  We serve groups from Girl Scouts and youth groups to hospital staffs.

High Ropes Course
The High Ropes contains elements 20 to 40 feet above ground.  The 40 ft. climbing tower has three climbing faces and a rappelling area as well.  Don’t worry, you will be safely hooked in as you complete each element.

Intermediate Ropes Course
On the Intermediate Ropes Course, elements are between 12 and 20 feet above ground.  At the end, participants get to free rappel to the ground.

There is also an indoor climbing wall and many of the initiatives are available in case of inclement weather.

 

OTHER CABINS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

Betwixt – Contains six rooms.  The upstairs has three rooms; the two outside rooms sleep 9 each, and the middle room sleeps 13.  The downstairs has two rooms that sleep 9 each and a medium sized conference room.  Each sleeping room has it’s own bathroom containing two toilets and two showers.  Total beds 49.

Beyond – Two upstairs room each sleep 7.  Two downstairs rooms each sleep 9.  Small common room downstairs.  Total beds 32.

Between – Two stories each sleeps 13.  Total beds 26.

Centennial – Downstairs sleeps 11, has fireplace; upstairs sleeps 7.  Total beds 18.

Lodge – Upstairs sleeps 15, has two toilets and one shower.  Building also houses our camp store and a meeting room with a fireplace. Total beds 15.

Yon- First floor sleeps 13, has fireplace.  Upstairs sleeps 11.  Total beds 24.

Hither – Upstairs sleeps 10, downstairs sleeps 11 and has a fireplace.

Thither – Single story sleeps 11 and has a fireplace.  Total Beds 11.
