Jeff is currently serving as the Executive Director and his wife, Susan is Camp Bethel’s Food Service Director. Jeff and Susan have four children who have all left the nest and are busy attending college and/or raising families.

José Luna
José Luna hails from Philadelphia, PA where he graduated from Temple University in 2007. He became a staff member in April of 2008 and has been helping with grounds maintenance, office duties, summer camp planning, Bible correspondence and is working toward getting a high school ministry started.

Stephanie Thorne
Stephanie was born in Greensboro, NC, but grew up on the east coast of VA in Newport News and most of her family is still there. She is from a large family, being one of 7 children (3 brothers and 3 sisters). Stephanie also has a niece and 2 nephews that she absolutely adores and probably talks too much about. She loves sports and is a giant Carolina Tar Heels fan. Stephanie loves to cook and is addicted to sweet tea. Stephanie is a recent graduate of Liberty University with a bachelors in both math and biology.

Eric and Rachel Klinger
Eric is from Kansas City, KS and Rachel is from Clintwood, VA. They met at Liberty University where Eric graduated with a degree in Finance and Rachel with a degree in Student Ministry. They were married July 28, 2007 and their first child, Natalie Grace, was born in June 2009. Eric enjoys golfing and is an avid Indiana Hoosier and Chicago Cubs fan. Rachel enjoys being on the ropes course and was thrilled when her team, The North Carolina Tar Heels, brought home the 2009 NCAA championship!

Dina Labib
Dina was born in Cairo, Egypt but grew up in the Middle East until she was 17, when she moved to Granville, Ohio. She graduated from Ohio State University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Dina became a staff member in June of 2010 and has been helping in the office and with TUPOS the college ministry at UVA-Wise and is working on starting a women’s ministry on the UVA-Wise Campus.

Matthew Tompkins
Matt is a native of Carroll County, VA and is currently attending UVA-Wise from which he will graduate in May 2012. Matt was a summer staffer in the summer of 2011 and fell in love with Camp Bethel so much that he joined the mission staff in August of 2011. He also met his fiance’ Kim Rezen at Camp Bethel. Matt is a big fan of baseball and especially the New York Yankees.
