Camp Bethel Ministries is inviting anyone 16 years old and up to compete in our IN IT TO WIN IT obstacle race April 20-21, 2012. IN IT TO WIN IT will be an agonizing, mile and a half obstacle course that you and your team must all complete… together. This course will be full of obstacles and surprises (you can see by the pics below). IN IT TO WIN IT is a painful and challenging competition not for the faint of heart, but for those with guts and seek glory. This is one event you won’t want to miss.
IN IT TO WIN IT is a 4 person team event with an entry fee of $200 per team. This entry fee will also include lodging Friday night and breakfast Saturday morning, as well as one individual attempt at the prize competitions during the morning events. If an individual, or team, would like to compete in a morning event more than once there will be an additional cost.
For those interested in watching the competition, there will be an entry fee. Spectator tickets will be $10 if purchased in advanced, $20 the day of the event. College students may purchase discounted tickets for $5 in advance or $15 the day of. Students must present a valid student ID in order to obtain this discount. All military personnel, past or present, will receive free admission with military ID. In addition, concessions and lunch items will be available for purchase throughout the day for spectators and contestants in our caboose store at the lake.
At 1 P.M. the obstacle race will begin, with staggered starting intervals every 30 minutes until each team has started. Four teams will be allowed to run the course at each interval. The IN IT TO WIN IT race is an obstacle race and will be timed. The winner of the race will be the team with the shortest time. All 4 members of each team must cross the finish line for the time to stop for that team. Upon completion of the race, there will be an hour intermission after which all teams will gather for a brief devotion from our speaker followed by the presentation of awards.
