Family camp at Camp Bethel is the perfect ending to summer and a great way to spend Labor Day weekend! The entire camp, and many of our activities are open for you and your family to enjoy. During the day, see if you can keep up with your child on the ropes course, take them for a ride in the canoe, or simply relax by the lake as your children play.
We will have activities scheduled throughout the entire weekend you and your family may participate in, or feel free to opt out of any you wish. The only event we ask everyone to attend is the special Sunday morning Worship Service.
Check-in and 'meet-and-greet' activities begin on Friday evening. After a delicious, home-cooked breakfast at 8:30 on Saturday morning, our 'signature' camp activities- including the ropes course, paintball, mountain biking, shooting range, and many more - are open and available for you to participate in. After lunch, the lake and all of the lake-side activities are open for your enjoyment. (A certified lifeguard will be present.) Nightly activities include campfires, S’mores, talent shows, and more.
On Sunday morning, we invite you to join us for Family Camp Sunday School and a Worship Service. After lunch, the lake and camp activities are open for your enjoyment and relaxation. The day is concluded with a special Elijah Fire in the amphitheater. The last activity of the weekend will be Monday morning breakfast.
Unless you request to be housed with another family, each family is assigned it’s own cabin, RV site, tent site, or tepee. Assignments are made based on special needs and on the order in which we receive the registrations and deposits.
We also have a Male Cabin and a Female Cabin for individuals.
Hand hewn log cabins are available for your family. All cabins are within a short walking distance of a modern shower houses (yes, there is plenty of HOT water). We also have a large, multi-unit cabin that sleeps 40 with integrated bathrooms.
We have eight RV/Camper sites with full hook-ups reserved in advance on a first-come basis.
If you are looking for a more rustic family weekend, request one of our Indian Tepees. They are on platforms off the ground with a shower house nearby.
Bring your own tent and we’ll find you a nice spot for you to camp out.
Family Camp is funded by donations from those who attend. A $50.00 deposit will reserve your space.
