Many activities are available for your family to enjoy from participating in friendly competitions to crafts. If you choose, you can relax by the lake as your children swim. You may participate in all of the planned activities or opt out of any you wish. The only required event is Sunday morning Worship Service.
The weekend activities begin on Friday evening after supper. Saturday morning you will enjoy a delicious, home-cooked breakfast at 8:30, followed by optional family or individual activities. Each day after lunch the lake will be open for your enjoyment. A certified lifeguard will be present. Nightly activities include campfires, Smores, and other options. See the list below for more details.
Sunday morning there will be classes broken down by ages followed by a morning service with worship music and a special speaker. The last activity of the weekend will be Monday morning breakfast. We look forward to seeing you.
Housing:
Unless you request to be housed with another family, each family is assigned it’s own cabin, RV site, tent site, or teepee. Assignments are made based on special needs and on the order in which we receive the registrations and deposits.
Cabins:
Hand hewn log cabins are available for your family. The cabins are within a short walking distance of the shower houses (yes, tere is running water and plenty of it is HOT). There is a five room cabin, which has it’s own bathrooms.
RV Sites:
There are eight RV sites with full hook-ups available. Again, these are assigned in the order you register.
Teepees:
If you are looking for a more rustic family weekend, request one of our Indian Teepees. They are on platforms off the ground with a shower house nearby.
Tents:
Bring your own tent and we’ll find you a nice spot for you to camp out.
Registration Fees:
Family Camp is funded by donations from those who attend. A $25.00 deposit will reserve your space.
